They say lines and wrinkles give you character, and that if you must have wrinkles, you should have happy ones! It’s not that easy to pick and choose, so we say we can help you with softening and reducing the lines and signs of aging, yet still maintain the expressiveness of your face and regain younger looking skin.

Lines and wrinkles are formed when the skin loses its elasticity and collagen and elastin fibres start to break down. They can be formed by dynamic muscle movements as we talk, smile, frown, raise our eyebrows and so on. Superficial fine lines can be caused by dry, dehydrated skin. Static lines are caused by general aging and gravity and are obvious even when you’re not moving the muscles on your face.

Dynamic wrinkles such as frown lines and crow’s feet can be treated effectively with Botulinum Toxins and the results may take as little as 48 hours up to 2 weeks to show. Static lines such nasolabial folds and marionette lines can be improved with Dermal Fillers. Our approach would not be to completely eliminate these lines as we prefer you to look soft, fresh and natural, rather than stiff and frozen!

A great treatment to have for superficial fine lines would be the Skinboosters by Restylane. Otherwise known as Shui Guang Zhen in Mandarin. Popularised by the Koreans because of the dewy glow it gives, the treatment originally started in Europe where doctors would inject tiny drops of hyaluronic acid across the dermis to provide much-needed hydration. The Hyaluronic Acid droplets attract a lot of moisture and plumps up the surrounding skin, stimulates collagen production, and smooths out the fine lines in your skin, thereby giving you a much needed boost of hydration and that dewy glow Koreans and Korean drama fans are so crazy about.

Of course laser therapy and radio frequency treatments which stimulate collagen synthesis will also help to improve these lines!
